What this cannot do
Spotlight only. Snaps sent to you, private Stories and Memories never get a public link, so they cannot be fetched here — by us or by anything else.

Frequently asked questions
Can I download a snap someone sent me?
No. Direct snaps never have a public address, so there is nothing to paste. This works on Spotlight clips, which are published for anyone to watch.
Will the sender be told I saved it?
Spotlight clips are public posts rather than private snaps, so the screenshot notification you may be thinking of does not apply here.
Can I save my own Memories this way?
Memories are stored to your account rather than published, so they have no public link. Snapchat's own export in Settings is the route for those.
